Goal Setting is all about Doing the Impossible. This Module is about the importance of goal setting for a successful life.
The first step to accomplishing your goals is to set them. Without developing a plan, you are without a clear direction. You’ll be in constant limbo with no idea where you are going.
Actionable tips for setting your life goals are easier when you set your mind to what are you trying to achieve, and where you are in the process, such as:
- Understanding the concept of time is extremely important as this is closely linked to action we take. For example, someone who has a lot of time on their hands can use that time to take action and learn new things. On the other hand, someone who is short on time may have to choose between taking action and acquiring new knowledge.
- In either case, time is a precious resource that should be used wisely. After all, time is the only commodity we can never get back to once it’s gone.
- The participant can then decide on the best way to achieve their goals and priorities throughout Life. Then, the next step is to take an honest look at your priorities and ensure they align with your goals.
Lastly, you need to prioritize what’s important to you and understand how each item on your list fits into the bigger picture of your Life as a whole.
